We’re sharing an important update about international shipping, how new U.S. tariff policies are already impacting product costs, and what we’ve been doing to protect the future of BlockHeadz.
Shipping Has Always Been Core to How We Work
At BlockHeadz, we ship directly from our factory in China. It’s the most efficient way to get products to you quickly after we manufacture them in bulk. This has allowed us to keep costs low and offer premium, creator-led products without unnecessary delays, waste, or markups.
However, significant changes are happening now that are directly affecting how we operate.
What’s Changing
The U.S. government has introduced major tariff increases:

April 9th – Tariffs on bulk imports from China will increase from 20% to 54%

May 2nd – All small parcels shipped directly to U.S. customers will now face a 30% tariff on the product value

Other countries are also affected. For example, Vietnam will face a 46% tariff
These changes apply to virtually all goods entering the U.S., and they directly impact how we fulfill and deliver our products, especially since the majority of our customers are U.S.-based.
What This Means for You (Especially if You’re in the U.S.)
These changes will not only affect BlockHeadz, but nearly every international product you buy, including those from major brands and online marketplaces.
If you're based in the U.S., you can expect:
- Higher shipping costs across the board
- Price increases on many international products
- Longer fulfillment times in some cases

Unfortunately, these rising costs are already affecting day-to-day operations for small businesses like ours.
Why Shipping Costs Are Increasing — and What It Means for You
To keep BlockHeadz sustainable under these new conditions, we’ve made the decision to increase shipping fees by $2 across all orders, and a $5 tariff charge will apply to all U.S. orders effective immediately
This is to directly cover the new government-mandated fees on U.S.-bound parcels
This applies only to new orders placed from today onwards. The reason for the immediate change is simple: every product still being fulfilled will ship after the tariffs take effect, and we need to account for those new costs now.
If you’ve already placed an order, don’t worry. You will not be charged anything extra. We’ll be honouring those orders and covering the additional costs ourselves.

We’re excited to announce that two new product lines are launching soon, and they represent some of the most ambitious and creative projects we’ve ever worked on.
These new releases are being built with improved logistics and long-term resilience in mind, including smarter fulfillment systems designed to handle global shipping challenges more efficiently.
